Awareness campaign directed to the owners and sales managers at ALL of the furniture and accessories manufacturing companies?

They need to know and be reminded continuously about this great tool they can use. These managers at all of the manufacturers receive a monthly fax, a quarterly direct mail piece, and a handout at their showrooms during furniture markets. The goal is to professionally make and keep them aware of the database of sales reps at repfurniture.com. We want them to use the database. They get instant sales rep candidates.

Why should I join if I'm not looking for a new line right now?

Maybe you would still like to hear and know when lines are open in your territory so you're "in the know". Maybe you'd like to know so you can inform certain other reps.

What does "receive an inquiry by email" mean?

When a hiring manager does a search in a specific territory, browses and views the sales rep profiles in that territory, and through the site by email sends a message inquiry to those reps that may say something like "xyz leather upholstery company seeking representation in Florida, leather experience preferred, call John Smith at this number". This is an inquiry.

What if I'm willing to re-locate to certain parts of the country if the right job opportunity comes along?

In your profile, under the "States willing to rep", check all of the states that you want inquiries from hiring managers. You can edit your checked states at any time.

What if some of my profile information changes?

You can login at any time and make changes, additions, deletions, etc. You are in control of your profile. It is very important for you to keep your profile information current, ESPECIALLY your email address.  

How long does it take after I join for my profile to go live?

Within 48 hours.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes. Please provide your feedback through the Contact page so we can attempt to make improvements.

How long does it take for Sales Reps to receive a hiring manager's email inquiry?

Within 48 hours. The email messages from the hiring managers are read, approved, and then sent to the Sales Reps through our system. This helps to ensure our member Sales Reps are not receiving advertisements, spam, or phony messages of any kind, although there's no guarantee that this won't happen.

Are Sales Rep profiles public information where anyone has access to view them?

Yes. Anyone can hit Search Reps, conduct a search, and view Sales Rep profiles. The Anonymous option is there if you prefer that your profile not be public.
